Boundaries - what does this word conjurer up to you?
One definition is 'where one area starts and another finishes'.

This project explores a number of areas including the old parishes of Stroud and Rodborough.  Over the years, the local area has changed with new 'boundaries' emerging and old ones disappearing. So lets look back to what boundaries there were in place years ago........

Stroud once formed part of the neighbouring parish of Bisley, whilst Rodborough was part of Minchinhampton.  Today they both are part of Stroud District Council.

From January 2016, this website is managed by Stroud Local History Society
